Applying for a Public Art Mural Permit Just Got Easier

In 2023, the Brookfield Village Board approved an ordinance allowing business owners and commercial property owners to apply for permission to have murals painted on a secondary facade of their building.

While there's been some interest shown, applications have been few. However, we recently made the application process easier through the creation of an interactive permit on the Village of Brookfield website.

Instead of having to make a special trip into Village Hall to submit your paperwork, you can now apply online, with the ability to upload images and documents directly.
