Conservation Commission

The  Conservation Commission works to preserve, protect, and restore the natural resources of the Village of Brookfield through education, outreach, and community involvement.

Meetings are held at 6:30pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month in the Edward Barcal Hall Board Room in Village Hall 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, IL 60513. Please check the “calendar” page of the Village website to see scheduled meetings and cancellations.

Members

The Conservation Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Village President. Commissioners must reside in the Village of Brookfield. They are volunteers that serve staggered 3-year terms. Any resident interested in serving on the Commission should send a cover letter and resume to the Village President.
