BNSF Track work in Brookfield...UPDATE

The BNSF Tie Gang work has been moved up and will be commencing tonight at 8PM at various locations. The Tie Gang will be using directional lighting for their work and this may cause a light disturbance for some of our residents that are near the tracks. Although there will be some noise disturbance made by the track equipment, the loudest nightly noise will be the locomotive whistles. The ties that are pulled will be placed beside the track and picked up within 1 to 5 days.

It is projected that the earliest BNSF will be getting to the Hollywood Crossing is the evening of Wednesday, April 23rd. The crossing will be taken out of service during the work from 8:00pm-4:00am. RoadSafe traffic is on standby during this work in case anything unexpected is found that would cause a crossing not to be able to reopen on time.

Upcoming Recreation Events:

Fourth of July is just around the corner. With the construction in Kiwanis park, this year the festivities will move to Ehlert Park! Stay tuned for more information and the 2014 parade route. 2014 Parade entry applications are available now.
