The Village of Brookfield is well served by public transportation. There are three Metra stations within the village on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe line, which operates between Aurora and Union Station in downtown Chicago. Brookfield is also served by the Pace Suburban Bus Service, via Route 331, which operates Monday through Saturday. All buses stop at Brookfield Village Hall, but certain weekday buses also serve Riverside-Brookfield High School and Brookfield Zoo's South Gate.  For more about Pace bus service throughout the Chicago suburbs, visit the Pace website.
