With the transition to Phase 4 – Tier 1 of the Restore Illinois plan, the Village will be re-opening facilities to the public on Monday, February 1. Members of the public entering Village facilities will be required to wear a face covering. The Village Hall lobby and Parks and Recreation Department area will have floor markings to maintain social distancing. Additionally, plexiglass barriers have been installed at the front counters. Village Hall will be open Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and the Public Works Department will be open from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
The Village remains committed to the safety and wellbeing of residents and staff; therefore, we encourage residents to continue utilizing alternative methods, such as the ones below, to engage with Village staff.
a) Water Bill Payments:
- Online Through the Village’s Website: brookfieldil.gov
- Place in One of the Drop Boxes Located in the Village Hall Parking Lot and by the Front Door of Fire Station 1 on Shields Ave.
- Pay by phone using a credit card at 708-485-7344 and selecting option # 1
c) Building permit applications and contractor registrations can be found at the “Forms” Tab on the Village Website at brookfieldil.gov and all documentation can be scanned and e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, sent by fax to 708-485-8090 or left in the drop box at Village Hall. Residents looking to speak with an inspector in-person will need to make an appointment in advance by calling (708)485-7344.
