Village of Brookfield Helping Animals in Houston

Brookfield Village staff is coming together to provide support and relief for the animals put in danger
by Hurricane Harvey.

This is not tax deductible. It is simply caring citizens looking for a way to help. We will be arranging a
truckload of food and pet supplies to be taken down to Texas and funds to be donated and given
directly to those on the ground. The money and donations sent on behalf of the “Entire Village of
Brookeld, Illinois.”

We are working with Bunny Buddies of Houston, and Houston SPCA to ensure that we are collecting
appropriate needs for animals.

Be part of this great effort! Ways to get involved:

  • Donate in person at the Village of Brookeld Farmers Market on Saturday, September 2nd!
  • Drop off pet food or monetary donations at Village Hall. Checks addressed to Village of
Brookeld with a memo notation “Harvey Animals”.
