Grand Boulevard Street Dining

The Village will be closing a portion of Grand Boulevard to vehicles in order to allow restaurants to use the sidewalk and street for outdoor dining. Cooling Center at Village Hall

Especially on days when there is excessive heat, we want to remind our residents that the Village of Brookfield has a cooling center at Village Hall (8820 Brookfield Avenue). Please remember to stay hydrated, check on elderly neighbors, friends, and/or relatives without air conditioning.  

West Central Consolidated Communications Service Upgrade

Starting early next week, West Central Consolidated Communications (WC3); the 911 emergency call-taking center for the Brookfield, McCook, North Riverside, and Riverside Police and Fire Departments, will start providing Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) instructions while receiving emergency 911 calls utilizing a new system called Power-Phone.
