Especially on days when there is excessive heat, we want to remind our residents that the Village of Brookfield has a cooling center at Village Hall (8820 Brookfield Avenue). Please remember to stay hydrated, check on elderly neighbors, friends, and/or relatives without air conditioning.
West Central Consolidated Communications Service Upgrade
Starting early next week, West Central Consolidated Communications (WC3); the 911 emergency call-taking center for the Brookfield, McCook, North Riverside, and Riverside Police and Fire Departments, will start providing Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) instructions while receiving emergency 911 calls utilizing a new system called Power-Phone.
