Starting early next week, West Central Consolidated Communications (WC3); the 911 emergency call-taking center for the Brookfield, McCook, North Riverside, and Riverside Police and Fire Departments, will start providing Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) instructions while receiving emergency 911 calls utilizing a new system called Power-Phone. The Cook County Department of Emergency Management has posted a list of municipalities that have curfews in effect. The Village of Brookfield has been incorrectly placed on that list. Please note, the Village of Brookfield does NOT have a curfew in place at this time.
