All Village Offices Closed to Public

Beginning Saturday March 21, 2020, the Governor has issued a “shelter in place” order for the entire State of Illinois.  Along with neighboring communities, the Village will be closing all its offices to the Public effective Monday, March 23, 2020 until further notice.  The Police, Fire and Public Works departments will still be operational, the Police station lobby will also be open to reach the Department if needed.  Village administrative staff will still be working, with modified schedules and teleworking where possible.

Although Village offices are closed to the public, below are ways you can still engage with Village Staff;

– Water Bills can be paid online, by phone, by mail, or by dropping it in the dropbox located at Village Hall
– Building permits can be delayed. If absolutely necessary, they can be submitted to the Village online
– Businesses have a one-month extension to pay their places for eating tax without penalty
– If you have any questions before you decide if a visit is necessary, please feel free to call us at 708-485-7344 or e-mail help@brookfieldil.gov

Please see the Village’s page for more updates and detailed information on utilizing online or phone resources.
