The Recreation Department offers programs to help meet the recreation and leisure needs of our residents, infants to seniors. In addition, the department coordinates a number of special events and programs for the public throughout the year.
Recreation Department Office hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Community Recreation Co-op Agencies
To help increase recreational program offerings to Brookfield residents, the Brookfield Recreation Department may enter into cooperative programming agreements with other surrounding communities.
This co-op allow residents to participate in more programs at resident rates. Co-oped programs can be identified by their location, listed under the program’s description.
Only programs listed in the current Brookfield Recreation Program Book are Co-Opted
For additional information on a co-oped program, please contact the host agency. Refund and cancellation policies are determined by the host agency.

Interested in Becoming a Part-Time Program Instructor?
The Brookfield Recreation Department is always looking for energetic, talented, and responsible persons to work as part-time program instructors. Do you have a special skill or talent that could be taught as a program through the Department? If so, stop by our Recreation Office for more information.
Commissioners, appointed by the Village Board, provide resident input to the Village Board and the Recreation Department on park issues and programming needs. The public is welcome to attend meetings held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Brookfield Municipal Building at 6:30 pm.
