Track Brookfield Capital Improvement Projects on Village Website

The 2024 construction season in Brookfield is upon us, and it promises to be plenty busy.

In addition to our annual street resurfacing project, we're replacing several sections of water main, installing two new permeable paver parking lots, swapping out 700 or more old lead water service lines with new copper pipes, making improvements to the areas  around both entrances to the Congress Park Metra station and undertaking a major improvement of Burlington Avenue, which will include street widening west of Prairie Avenue, installation of a new storm sewer from Salt Creek to Elm Avenue and installation of a new water main from Deyo Avenue to DuBois Boulevard, and then north on DuBois to Ogden Avenue.

That's a lot going on. But, now there's one place where you can get all of the information you need on project scope, the schedules, who to contact with any questions or concerns and updates on project progress courtesy of a new dynamic Capital Improvements Project GIS map on the Village website.
